About Crispin Freeman

Crispin Freeman was born in February 1972 in Chicago. He's familiar name in the English dubbing industry and has nearly forty series listed on his resume. He's now adding script adaptions and directing to his voice acting talents.

His best known roles include Touga (Revolutionary Girl Utena), Zelgadis (Slayers), Fuuma (X TV), Alucard (Hellsing), Hideki (Chobits), Amon (Witch Hunter Robin), Rosiel (Angel Sanctuary), Alex Row (Last Exile), Tsume (Wolf's Rain), and Rude (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children). For a more comprehensive listing, please visit his official site.

My first exposure to Crispin's work was Alucard, which made the show that much more enjoyable for me. His roles range from growly guys like Alucard to lighter characters like Hideki — and even an insane angel with a tendency toward maniacal laughter.

In addition to his fine voice work in a number of my favorite series, I also respect his dedication to bringing the best dubs to English-speaking anime fans and his true appreciation of the art form.

If you're a fan of Crispin Freeman's diverse voice acting skills, please add your name to this listing!
